This retreat will focus on essentials of Kriya Yoga philosophy and practice, emphasizing the connection between superconscious meditation and spiritually conscious living.

We will explore what it means to live with an awakened heart—how inner clarity, strength, and devotion naturally guide us to act in harmony with what we know to be true. We will look at how our innate divine qualities—such as peace, compassion, and inner wisdom—can be cultivated, allowing us to fulfill our divine purpose in harmony with the powers of nature and the support of divine grace.
During this retreat:
- Learn the keys to successful Kriya Yoga practice
- Discover practical ways to cultivate an awakened heart
- Explore and strengthen your innate divine qualities
- Clarify what it means to live in the highest way and how to do it
Teachings and practices will be drawn from those given directly by Roy Eugene Davis and other masters in this tradition of Kriya Yoga, including Mr. Davis’ commentary on The Bhagavad Gita regarding the characteristics of soul-inspired attitudes and behaviors.
Yogacharya Ellen Grace O’Brian met her spiritual teacher, Roy Eugene Davis, in 1979 and was ordained by him in 1982. She is the spiritual director of the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment, a meditation center in the Kriya Yoga tradition with headquarters in San Jose, California.
