Meditation Enlivens the Body’s Systems

June 9, 2013

Stress, confusion, despair, anxiety, fear, loneliness, hopelessness, unnatural living habits, and unhealthy environmental conditions can weaken the body’s immune system, its safeguard against disease and deterioration. Regular practice of contemplative meditation unfolds superconscious states which, being superior to conditioned states of consciousness, organize the body’s systems and infuse them with enlivening forces.

Intentional cultivation of optimism, hope, faith, purposefulness, and feelings of love, also exercise a healthy, nourishing influence on the immune system. It is not mere coincidence that happy, healthy-minded, creatively purposeful people, are relatively disease-free and tend to live longer, more successful lives. They know, consciously or instinctively, that life is for living and respond with enthusiasm to their opportunities to creatively express.

Speak this positive affirmation:

I cultivate optimism, hope, faith, purposefulness, and feelings of love as I live with enthusiasm and creatively express.

Have a good day . . . and a great life!
