By doing this, your every thought, mood, action, and relationship will nurture radiant wellness and functional expression in every aspect of your life. Habit-bound, conditioned, self-conscious existence is in opposition to the soul’s innate urge to have awareness restored to unrestricted freedom. Therefore, do all you can to assist yourself to be more conscious, more creatively functional, and in harmony with nature’s evolutionary trends by choosing to live as constructively as possible.
You do not have to be spiritually enlightened to choose a healthy lifestyle. All that is needed is knowledge of how to proceed, personal decision, commitment, and participation. To live an unhealthy, disorganized life while hoping for spiritual practices to work miracles is self-defeating. To live well, without cultivating awakened spiritual consciousness, is to have a materialistic orientation and be unfulfilled. The ideal approach is to implement a balanced routine of activities, provide for supportive relationships and circumstances, and remain attentive to practices which nurture spiritual growth.
